    The Role:

    Our largest UK site in Harrogate is currently recruiting for a Study Coordination Supervisor to join the Bioanalysis team, which provides analytical testing services in support of pre-clinical and clinical trials. The Bioanalytical Study Coordination Supervisor is responsible for a team of study coordinators that undertake specific tasks in support of Bioanalytical Large Molecule (LCMS & Immunochemistry) Lead Scientists.

     

    The role primarily encompasses managing the Study Coordination team, with full responsibility for training, development and ensuring all daily work activities are completed on time. You will have responsibility for ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with the appropriate SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory agency guidelines. You will also manage the workload of the Study Coordination team and assist in priority setting, to ensure the smooth running of client studies.

     

    Finally, you will support the implementation of process improvements within Study Coordination and assist in the development of departmental policies, procedures and training manuals.

    Education / Qualifications

    * Scientific degree (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences etc.)

    * Previous experience as either a supervisor or junior manager.

    *Experience as a study coordinator or work experience in a CRO would be ideal, yet not a necessity.

    Experience

    *Computing skills, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft Project).

    *Proven people skills.

    *An understanding of health and safety policies and of GMP/GLP/GCP.

    *The post holder should be able to communicate effectively at all levels and integrate well within an established and fast growing team.
