    We are recruiting for our Early Development team in Harrogate and are currently seeking to hire a Graduate Statistician to help support the team with reporting and analysis of study data. This is a full time, permanent position, based in our Harrogate office.

     

    About the Job

     

    Within this position, your duties will include:

     

    • Liaise with internal clients, as required, about the requirements for analysis of study data.
    • Assist in developing SAS library code for use by the Statistics department.
    • Maintain study data packages including both hard copy documents and electronic files in the study area.
    • Assist in the statistical analysis/summary statistics of study data under the direction of senior Statistical staff.
    • SAS programming and related activities for the presentation and analysis of study data.
    • Conduct all work in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, and specifically those regulations (GLP, GMP, GCP) specified in the study plans, protocols, or work agreements governing the work in which they are involved.
    • Display effective interpersonal and communication skills. Be cooperative and team-orientated.
    • Assure quality of personal work.

    Education / Qualifications

    You will need to be educated to degree level in statistics or mathematics. Educated to Masters level in a numerical or statistical discipline is preferred but not essential. 

    Experience

    • Experience and knowledge with SAS is advantageous.
    • Skills in the use of a PC (Word and Excel) and general computer operation.
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
    • A cooperative and team-oriented attitude and approach.
    • Self-motivation.
    • The ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
