    Investigator Support Coordinator



    COVANCE is a leading global drug development services company and we provide support to the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. 


    We are recruiting for our Central Laboratory team in Mechelen, Belgium and are currently seeking to hire an Investigator Support Coordinator to help support the team with maintaining contact with the Investigator sites, and disseminating key information on the laboratory results for their ongoing clinical studies.


    We are currently offering a 6 months contract, full time position, in our offices in Meyrin/Geneva.


    About the Job


    Within this position, your duties will include:

    • Notifying investigator sites, sponsors, and affiliates of laboratory results, exclusion flags, and test cancellations as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
    • Updating the database with appropriate information and informing personnel of additional testing needs.

    What we’re looking for

    To be successful in this position, you will need to:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Multilingual – French and English and minimum 2 languages: German, Italian, Spanish, Polish... Any other language is an asset.
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to use computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
    • Strong verbal and written skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Strong demonstrable customer service experience, ideally from a call center experience
    • Demonstration of strong contribution to teamwork
    • Flexibility to work additional hours/ weekends
    • Successfully handling a fluctuating workload in a pressurized environment
    • Previous experience in a call center (a great advantage)
