    Job Primary Functions

    • Human Resources Generalist required to work for Chiltern, a Covance Company
    • You must have previous experience of working within Human Resources in Germany
    • You will work in a fast paced, busy environment and you will be used to working independently
    • Permanent, office based role in Frankfurt area, Germany
    • Manage employee on-boarding processes
    • Manage local employee benefits administration and leave requests
    • Guide managers in application of the company’s tools and processes for performance management and salary review
    • Produce reports and metrics on a regular basis as required by Line Manager and as required in support of RFI processes
    • In some countries, fulfil Facilities and Health & Safety Responsibilities
    • In some countries, fulfil lead HRIS user responsibilities
    • Manages immigration processes when necessary
    • May participate in delivery of local training to employees and line managers
    • May participate in recruitment interviewing
    • Contributes to local policy and local employee handbook development. Ensures policies are revised and communicated
    • Escalates complex issues to LM or Country designee

     

    Education / Qualifications

    Degree in HR/Legal is preferred

    Experience


    • Profound experience as a Human Resources Generalist, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of HR data and information during interactions with staff at all levels
    • Previous experience of working within HR in Germany is essential
    • Knowledge of key HR processes: performance management, pay for performance, talent development, induction, immigration, training, coaching, and issue resolution
    • Fluent in German and English; knowledge of other local languages preferred where applicable
    • Proficient user of MS Office software
    • HR certification recognized by the profession
    • Hard working
    • Used to working independently
