  • Job Overview

    We’re currently in search of an Executive Director, Pharma Solutions Delivery to act as a partner’s champion within Covance to facilitate investments & resource allocation. The Executive Director will provide alliance messaging to accentuate priorities, reinforce partnership behaviors, celebrate success and promote awareness. The ideal candidate will be the direct line of communication between bilateral alliance leads in time of urgency and/or high sensitivity while providing day-to-day oversight of alliance activities as well as tracking goals, but not limited to the following:

    • Proven track record in operational delivery
    • Solid understanding of commercialization and the principles of drug discovery and development and cross-functional roles which drive success
    • High EQ and executive presence; Ability to facilitate executive exchanges of strategic direction/business issues
    • Acts as strategic relationship point of contact for Alliance partners.
    • Influences coordination of global initiatives
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strategic business awareness skills
    • Ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
    • Demonstrated ability to create tailored approaches to customer needs
    • Demonstrated ability to think analytically to drive strategic solutions
    • Acts as business architect for alliance programs and initiatives
    • Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities and managing various teams through change curve
    • Demonstrated ability to work creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment

    Education / Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree –Life Sciences and or Business Management

    Experience

     

    15 years relevant industry experience (CRO/Pharmaceutical); or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
