Job Overview

As a Report Writer you will support the team to deliver high quality scientific reports to our external clients. You will manage a full study workload incorporating all study designs and adhere to report preparation schedules by prioritizing tasks. There is exposure to a variety of study types and therefore you will develop a wide knowledge base while learning the role.


The main responsibilities of the Report Writer are:


  • Report preparation: prepare the study report from templates using details described in the protocol and study communications. Address quality assurance inspection items on GLP-regulated studies. Finalize study reports and deliver appropriate materials for archival.
  • Data table preparation: utilize table generation programs including basis statistical analysis within those programs; review data tables for accuracy.
  • Scheduling responsibilities: review and adjust reporting schedules to ensure client expectations are met.


The skills and experience we are looking for are:


  • Attention to detail, time management, good organization, good communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Ability to work independently with the support of the larger team.

Education / Qualifications

Scientific A’ levels and/or equivalent technical knowledge gained through work experience. A Life Sciences degree would be beneficial but is not essential.

Competent in MS Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat



Experience is desiriable, however the focus is on the correct candidate for the role that can demonstrate a proactive attitude.
