Job Overview

  • Performs data entry into SFDC, CMS, and other databases, as appropriate (e.g. routine updates, proposal number requests, opportunity number requests, and generating both regularly scheduled and impromptu reports)
  • Performs drafting of quotes and other client related documents for client managers on low complexity projects, as assigned.
  • Provides support for other low complexity projects associated with the inquiry to cash process (e.g. contract management, cost estimation, invoicing, etc.)
  • Coordinates client visits (e.g. drafting agenda, catering requests, managing visit logistics, etc.)
  • Contributes to assigned process improvement projects and supports implementation when needed
  • Assists with scheduling on-boarding activities for new starters
  • Responsible for coordinating and ensuring department compliance training is conducted and team records are up-to-date
  • Manage and maintain required department reports

Education / Qualifications


High School diploma or equivalent, prefer BS/BA



Minimum Required:


  • Preferred: 2 or 4 year degree (science discipline is a plus)
  • 1-2 years of related experience (CRO/pharma or other business field) preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact
  • Demonstrated computer skills – requires excellent MS Office experience (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize
  • Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience in a scientific or logistics environment is a plus
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of other software applications (i.e. SFDC) preferred
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with internal clients
  • Positive attitude and sense of urgency
