We are seeking candidates with some experience working on contracts in an international organization like Covance.

  • **Previous background at other international CROs is not essential**, and so contract expertise in different industries is welcome.
  • The CRO experience we ´d love to see is specifically within the Pre-Clinical area, so you are used to the fast pace of  Toxicology, Safety or Metabolism projects.

However, what really matter to us is that you are working in a “high volume, quick turnaround” environment You will truly belong to a GLOBAL team (interacting with colleagues/managers in the US or Asia Pacific). On any given day we will negotiate legal terms and conditions, draft contracts, and will work cross-functionally with multiple internal teams which seek our advice on contractual issues. This is why we need:

  •  Fast learners and self-starters, taking the initiative and able to work independently (i.e., your colleagues may work in different time zones: will you be comfortable working proactively and finding your own solutions when needed?)
  • Someone who is able to speak to clients professionally
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player, with capacity to build strong internal relationships (with sales, peers, legal, finance, pricing…)
  • Someone who enjoys and thrives in an ever-changing and fast paced environment, with strong planning, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Eye for detail to detect & follow up on outstanding contract issues for resolution, so that business and legal risk is minimized.
