COVANCE is a leading global drug development services company and we provide support to the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries.

We are recruiting for our Early Compound Development team in Harrogate and are currently seeking to hire a Scientist to help support the Immunology and Immunotoxicology department by providing technical support for the planning and directing of method development projects/studies in compliance with appropriate SOPs.

  • Have a minimum of 2 years working experience within the relevant assigned discipline
  • Computing skills, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety policies, Company Policies and Procedures, a working knowledge of ISO (accreditation and application), and an in-depth understanding of GLP and GCP.
  • Be able to communicate effectively at all levels with other Covance employees, as well as external clients, suppliers, etc.

Education / Qualifications

About You

To be successful in this position, you will need to hold a degree (PhD preferred), or equivalent degree in immunology, immunotoxicology or related discipline

Experience

  • Have a minimum of 2 years working experience within the relevant assigned discipline
