Senior Scientist - GENETIC TOXICOLOGY

At our pre-clinical development site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Scientist role in Genetic Toxicology.
The job summary is as follows:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that studies carried out in the Genetic and Molecular Toxicology Department are conducted to the required standard and that any data generated meets with Study Director approval. They will be the single point of study control and to take overall responsibility for the scientific, technical and regulatory conduct of all studies allocated, as well as for the interpretation, documentation and reporting of results. They will liaise with Laboratory/Support area Managers/Supervisors to ensure client timelines are adhered to. They will liaise with Clients for all aspects of study design and conduct, regular liaison with the client is of primary importance. The job role for the Study Director will include the direction of studies with genetic toxicology endpoints and/or in vitro-tox endpoints.
This position is suitable for a candidate who has been educated to Degree or equivalent level, MSc or PhD.
Previous experience of GLP Study Directing in either Genetic toxicology and/or in vitro tox studies is preferred. We would however welcome applications from candidates who have Study Directing experience in any GLP related discipline. Likewise, we would welcome applications from candidates who have no SD experience but do have a technical background in the relevant assays that the remit of the role will cover. Full training would be provided as necessary.
